@munkeeboy74 Why should she not be praised? Because that is what you do if your apartment building is on fire with no alarms going off. The story should be that someone actually did the right thing, not that she is a hero for doing it. I saved my neighbors house from a fire in the wall by keeping it under control with my extinguisher until the fire department arrived. Did I get any praise, no, because I am also on the department, but was just home at the time. I just did what's right.

I agree ORVX. Nothing amazing about this story, but she is a thoughtful person. And for that, ppl in her community should thank her.
Kinda makes me wonder...if ppl see this as amazing what kiind of ish would they do in this situation- Stand on the sidelines ?
