hehe you're adorable. I'm now getting an English teacher to check over my Reason statement for Working Holiday visa. I just watched your video and noticed our reasons are pretty much the same and almost in the same order wahah. Only i haven't mentioned fun anywhere, probably because i'm almost twice your age, but also because i find "learning" and challenging activities fun.
Anyway this video is probably quite old, so i hope you had a wonderful time in Japan. Very useful video.
honeyslip. yeah. lol. many people assume it's merely syntax.. it's alot more than that(speech). mcheng87 is only right that they are similar. (Kanji and mandarin characters). But just because one can speak one that it will make the other easier for them to learn? It does not!! I can't say he's completely wrong because some, not all, but some of Kanji is the same as Chinese. (example love character.)I reckon its easier to read from japanese to chinese because kanji is an adaptation of chinese.
Japan=I love Japan but can only speak about 15 Japanese words and I think I wouldn't get work there, cheap to fly there from Aus too unlike UK/Ireland which sucks.
Thinking UK or Ireland, can go through IEP (BUNAC in UK),then on way home go to Europe,Egypt,Asia
I think the only person who can decide this is you and people who know you. I don't think you'll enjoy Japan so much if you don't know Japanese. At least European languages would be much quicker for you to pick up as a European speaker.
I hope you're doing well; I'm definitely going to check out the rest of your videos. You are very, very lucky! I agree; Japan is so weird but I loooove the culture. It's been my goal since about age 6 or 7 to learn as much as I possibly could about it and I guess it's a bit sad but if I weren't interested in Japan, I have no idea what I would be interested in. There's so much TO be interested in, though.
Thanks for the comment! Japan has so much to be interested in that I don't think people interested in the country are crazy, lol. Anime, fashion, music, tea ceremony etc.
Wow, sounds good. I don't know you, but you really inspired me t Live out my dreams. This maybe a bit of a cliche. But you have really inspired me. Lilith is in the right path, I will definitely be living my time in Japan through you.
ur a lucky 18 year old guy...i wanna go too :((((( buhuhu..ok, i guess i'll live though u (ur vids) now..i'm too old..almost a grandma loool ahh wtf was i saying about the sound? great vid! ok, go to Japan already! looool
Haha. I'm leaving tomorrow night! I haven't started packing but I've stayed up all night editing these videos, lol. I need to sort out my priorities. (>_<)

Maybe you can do that in another country, but not here in Japan.
The Immigration will find out right away !
Anyway, you will be asked for proper ID`s before you can work.
Good luck !

Chinese and Japanese characters are similar, so if you do learn Chinese then it will be quite simple, at least when writing or reading it.
