Great playing! Now, a question -- who was the idiot who decided that this video needed a "beat box" intro and ending? Sure, the video production people want to sign their work -- but do they need to do it in such an intrusive and obnoxious manner?
Mentioning Yngwie in the same paragraph as Manuel is so absurd. Take away Yngwie's heavy distortion, the super slinky strings and action so low and then see what he sounds like. What manuel is doing has so much more dimension - tone and dynamics which are only his fingers. There is no comparison
Its a brilliantly mastered classical piece he isnt the master at peabody conservatory for nothing! Id like to see him and yngwie malmsteem play together or write something they both are the best classical players ive ever seen!!!
@john169ify did you just compare Barrueco to yngwie? You haven't a clue my friend. Clearly you are not a classical guitarist. I don't wish to be mean, but you need to move beyond yngwie and embrace some real music. At least you are listening to Barrueco, so there is hope. Now try David R. and Julian B. :)
@888Xristos More sad is to read derogatory comments of people that probably are not even musicians...and, hey you know what ?, I'm talking about you!, try to be respectful with people taste and at least play something to talk like that, please.
@888Xristos whatever you want, if you are a musician congratulations, but I think if you talk like that about one of the most famous guitarrist of rock you have to add value to your words with some valid argument, then, of course that see music videos, even if those are of classical music, it doesn´t make you a musician, or means you are already one.
@john169ify Dude, I really like Yngwie but this is totally different, don´t you think?, In my opinion Yngwie is not a classical composer, is a "neoclasical rock" composer.

@clsclgtrst It's just sad... I mean - listening to yngwie is *barely* justifiable, even in the world of electric guitar.

@andres1203ecuador
What is the probability that I am not a musician? Wouldn't it be greater, given the fact that I'm commenting on a musical video??
Anyways... I don't like yngwie's style of music, and you don't like my style of commenting on Youtube. I don't see a big difference.
