I have this same radio,I left it in the closed on it's back for 2 years. Dust got in the all of the knobs and switches. Now I have scratchy volume,terrriable band switching and and intermittaiant bacnd switching.So don't store iton it'back. Keep it with a dust cover.

hey, that cream cloured scale, looks so period and I bet it's much easier on the eyes during long sessions of tuning around.
