I blow dry my hair then I applied my American crew pomade then I use either rusk or got 2 be glued hairspray and it will last around 2 hours before it turns white and starts to flake. What should I do so that it doesn't flake

@style06com yeah, its good not to sleep with all this products on your head, but it isn't healthy for your hair to wash them every day and put all these chemicals to your hair 'cause they will fall as the years pass. Just a tip, because you have thin hair, try not to wash the day by day ^_^ Even if you have thick hair, don't do this!

I have to blow dry my hair if I even want it to look decent, much less style it, my hair is heavy and flat enough as it is when it's dry, if it's wet it just kills any style from the weight.

Also , I use hot air on the shorter areas (~3 inches) so it'll be drier and style easier, and cool air on the longer areas like my bangs, that way the longer older hair won't fry (at least not as easilly, your milage may vary). Make sure your hair doesn't take too much heat and doesn't get too dry.

I tried this method where after a shower I evenly apply Gatsby then wash it off with just water (Gatsby tends not to wash of fully) then lightly towel dry it and in that state I can easily style it (putting my head upside down :P) top it off with hairspray. Gatsby on its own is a bit too strong for me :S Thanks man for the blow dry tip.

It also depends on how long you've had gatsby on. If you apply it then wash it off within the hour or two it's gonna be quite hard to get rid of all of it, as for having it on through out the day it's much much easier.
