I have the original 40 muffler and I was told that is the American Thunder muffler, but I'm not sure. You can probably go to a local muffler shop and pick their brain about the different muffler models.
Im getting a flowmaster 40 its 95 buks do it yourself i think its your best best sounds good like its purring and also give better hp and just sounds overall amazing
whats the details on your set up bro is it just the muffler or is it the way that the durango sounds cuz my bro has a 01 grand cherokee 4.7 on flow.m40's and it sounds deeper and a bit lower

jw but i was gonna get the 40 series for my 4.7, would you say it still very loud at the highest rpm in neutral -that is with the 4000 rpm rev limit?

yea it only happens wen i rev it..in gear it redlines in the upper 5k's..im guessing its a neutral rev limiter to protect the engine??
