road to wrestlemania in 2009 is the best story mode i've ever played in all of the WWE games, but 2007 and 2008 have better gameplay, appearance in my opinion.. you don't get create a belt in 2009, you don't get general manager mode in 2009! 2008 is much better.

you can have season mode, but it's called 24/7 mode, unless it's different for wii. go to "game modes" then go to "24/7 mode".
