hey, guys the phone looks nice and all and im not lieing about this because i have 1 of my own but the phone i would not really recommend. the phone has bad cons. some are the alarm wont go off when set sometimes, the green will randomly turn black, the phone if it dies it will go to company settings and if you turn it off it sometimes will go to company settings. emails wont come in until around 30mins. if u wont more info about it message me.

hey. i have this phone. I would no recommend getting it. problems it has is if you turn the phone of sometimes it goes back to company settings and if it dies it will go back to company settings sometimes the alarm wont go out if u set it and if u get emails it takes 30mins to get them. it sends double messages sometimes. sometimes it cuts itself off and sometimes the screen will go back. I HAVE THIS PHONE ITS RIGHT BESIDE ME! if u wont anymore info on it message me.

I have this phone. At first I thought it was great but the screen cracked. Then since it's an LCD screen it was leaking too. Luckily I called LG and they are sending me and my brother new phones. Since we have the same phone and the same defect.

@Fonzy3169, i have this phone that i literally got this past thursday for my birtday. my opinion is that i love this phone. the only thing that bugs me at times is the touch screen. at times only with certain things it does stuff that i didn't want to happen. like it opens the internet when i didn't want it to open. and the touch screen keyboard isn't the best, that is why i used the internal keyboard. i love this phone overall though.

I can't do anything with the Touch anymore because I no longer have one. I usually keep them for about 6 mos. after they come out. That phone has been out for almost 10 months. Sorry.

It came out in May so the technology is not old, even though things do happen fast in the Wireless Industry. Most of the people that have it love it. Some battery complaints, otherwise I think its a great phone.

i have the enV touch. its a good phone but im having a major, and im pretty sure it is a, glitch. when i make or recieve calls, after a few seconds, the external screen goes black and it locks. no matter what button i press it will not turn back on. it will do it randomly. and the only way i can get the screen back on is if i open the key bad and close it again. i tried pressing the lock button but it doesnt work...help!

Yes you can record rimgtones, or use a service like myxer to text the ringtone to you. No the internet is not free. Its $1.99/MB, but if you plan to do a lot of surfing or music browsing, you may want to get VCast Vpak. Its $15/mo for Mobile Web and that also gives you access to thousands of on-demand video clips of the hottest TV shows.

There are only two themes. Modern Retro (stamps) and Blue Inspiration (menus look sort of like the Versa and the main screen has 3 panels (Communications, Multimedia and Settings & Tools) that independently shift left to right with 4 options in each panel.

Unfortunately no. A lot of people have been asking the same thing. I agree. It shouldn't be so hard to see with all that screen real estate. What you can do is if you are in a central location for a period of time, you can put it on the charger and set the charging screen wallpaper to "desk clock" and it'll show a clock like the old flip style clock and its pretty big.

Look up about 5 comments. We've had that happen as well. I am 99% sure there is an upgrade available for it that corrects that problem and a few others you may not have come across yet! Musicrocks above got the upgrade and says that fixed it.

If you are experiencing probs & glitches with your enV Touch, take it back to the point of purchase and ask for a software upgrade (maybe call and make sure they are equipped to do it first). Should fix some or all of the issues. Let us know how you made out.

On the enV Touch? I went to Messaging, Settings and there's a menu called "Entry Mode" and the choices are T9, Abc, ABC and 123 I don't see anything that says "Show Candidate"

Here's what "show candidate" is all about. First-it only works on touchscreen, its similar to how a blackberry predicts text. When you start to type the word, a dropdown automatically appears with all the possibilties of what that word could be that you are have typed. It continues to guess words as you add characters.

It's basically the list you would cycle through if you were to hit the next key when you are using T9 and typing on the alphanumeric keypad.

Sources say when Apple and AT&T's contract ends, which some say is next year, some say 2012. Its definately going to happen, they have already talked about the phone being called the iPhone Lite. Either way (2010 or 2012) Verizon will have rolled out 4G so it'll be great! They are rolling out 4G in several markets this fall.

I used to be able to do it by finding the music in their folders on my PC and putting them on the microSD card. They are locked now so I can't do it anymore. The only songs I can put in from iTunes are songs I imported there myself.

Yes you do have to pay for it. The enVTouch doesn't have Wi-Fi. Its about $15 /month for the VCAst VPak which includes unlimitited web browsing.

The easiest way is with a microSD card. Put the MicroSD card in a card reader in your PC. Transfer jpg, png, bmp, or gif files to the folder on the card called My_Pictures. The put your card into the phone and gp tp Settings & Tools/Memory/Card Memory/My Pictures click on "Move" and you will get a list of pix, check off the ones you want on the phone and click "done", go to Media Center/Picture & Video/My Pictures and they should be there.

That's so hard to answer because it depends on what you are doing with the phone. I left it in my office for the weekend fully charged and when I came in on Monday it was dead. But I might have had the Bluetooth and location on, those eat batteries like crazy. ANY TOUCH OWNERS OUT THERE HAVE AN ANSWER FOR HIM?

The touchscreen is totally different than the Storm. It reacts immediately to the touch, no further pressing. One of the best I've ever used.

No, I don't think so. Unfortunately it doesn't have Easy Set-Up. Not sure why it doesn't, the enV3 has it. Anyway, Just go to Settings & Tools/Display Settings and go through each of those 8 items and set them accordingly. The back out of there to Settings & Tools/Sound Settings and you have 7 items there. That should do it!

Depends on if you like touchscreen or not. That is the Major difference. There are sublties like the camera, size, etc... but they are made different to appeal to QWERTY texters or QWERTY texters who also want a touchscreen.

That is a proximity sensor. When you are using the touchscreen it can sense that the phone is not close to your face (or at your ear), when you make a call and it senses that the phone is up to your cheek, the screen goes blank, thus saving battery. When you move it away it will re-illuminate.

You would want to verify this with Verizon Wireless' customer service but I'm pretty sure you can get the VCast Vpak for $15 a month and that will allow you unlimited Data sent or received for Mobile Web, and Get It Now/Media Center. The reason I say to check with Verizon is it may vary by phone or plan.

The only thing I can see that might fix you're asking is to go to Setting & Tools/Display Settings/Charging Screen and set it to "No Image". Let me know if that works, I don't have an LG charger handy so I tried my Blackberry charger. Same size port. It'll charge but an error comes up that it is not recommended for that phone so its not acting the way its supposed to when charging. I'll try to check later when I grab an LG cord.

I played with it for a while last night. I tried setting it with all three options, just to see the results. I did it in my video room with the lights out and I opened and closed the flip so it went to the lock screen and after a minute or so, it dimmed. The room was dark and it wasn't too bad. Still, not shut off, but not as bad as the regular homescreen. I'll still keep you posted on LG's answer.

soo you plug your micro sd card into your computer usinig the adaptor it came with. then open that filee upp. and mine at least had a music folder. if not im sure its not necessary. and then open up the music folder on your actual computer and click and drag the songs!!!

all your itunes music can be found in folders in the music part of your computer.

if ur using the usb cable then u dont need the card. the card and usb cable are different things so u can transfer music with both seperately. so no u dont need the Memory card
