I kinda figure after I posted my other comment that you just put the alpinestars sticker on a helmet and it's not actually an alpinestars made helmet. Felt like an idiot trying to look for old helmets that alpinestars used to make and coming up empty. Keep up the crazy work, got me thinking of making one now.

What if you glue the stuff on instead of screwing it in place, would that still void the safety regs or no?

@droidsfirst .. I have to give glue a second thought.. If there's a glue strong enough to hold these pieces intact with the helmet at speeds over 130 MPH.. let me know..

Regarding Safety Regs (DOT and SNELL).. I don't think you're allowed to stick anything onto a helmet.. so with screws or glue, I don't think this would fly with the officials..

@tigerpause444 2 part epoxy is a wide range of glues, everything that is 2 component is an epoxy, but specialized shops that sell autobody repair stuff should have 2 component adhesive that is used to fix plastic/fiberglass bumpers, that might work, although I dont know what it would do to the surface of a helmet, they're fairly delicate, the fiber reinforced ones are more resilent to glues and solvents, but the polycarbonate ones are delicate and might lose surface tension, making them unsafe.

This helmet gains less attention than my other helmets though... it might be because it's all black and may not look like anything out of the ordinary.. and when people get close enough to recognize Darth, people are intimidated and tend not to stare.. Something about the Darth helmet makes me feel super bad ass...

It was at Snake Run on the way to Wahiawa.

we were bangin turns hard and i used my front brake and i ran off the road, I hit a huge rock and flew foward onto the street and that bent my rim a little but its ok, my bike came towards me and the front tire ran over me. Dont Use front brakes on sharp turns, just lean more and downshift.

anyways, i standup right after and im perfectly fine and my bike just has a bent frame slider.

And some Samoan in his truck is bitching at me and calling me out

Honestly, glue is not recommended, I used short screws.. but yeah, by all means.. get a Darth, and hook it up on your helmet.. check out my Master Chief helmet too. Just finished today!

DOT is null if you use screws.. I think VHB tape is an option, however, there isn't much surface area on the Darth mask to adhere to the helmet. BTW I used short screws.. Thanks for the comment!

lol this one is sweet. u should make it more cool. have u ever seen those darth vader masks that imitate his voice when u speak? try installing one of those in the front and open some holes to the helmet (u alredy put screws so why not holes) so the crazy voice can b heard. and dude it will b sick

Actually, the darth mask that's screwed to my helmet is the voice changer darth mask from Walmart and Toys R Us.. What I wanted to do, was hook up the voice changer and amplify the sound out of a larger speaker out of the motorcycle.. haven't done that yet.. just a dream.. thanks for the comment though..
