He has so done singing in the USA...I was there at Galaxy Ball 2000 when he sang with a nasty head cold (that due to my horrid immune system I know exactly how nasty it was)
and I must say that he did a faboo job of his singing even though he was ill at GB2K.
I don't know why he would say he wouldn't sing here when he has...maybe he was more ill than we all thought he was.

he has sang in america before, i saw him sing the national anthem at dodgers stadium in early 2001
