Memories of You - Jazz Piano Improvisation

I am thinking of making a shirt-printed with jazz important piano composers and improvisers. such as garner ,blake, and some who are alive such as kapustin and chucho valdez . i believe the face of that period of jazz improvising is yours. i let you know when i decide to create that and make another shirt exactly the same in order to give to you. and last but not least. which women are you married to ..so i find one of the same to give such inspirations.! go on.

I stumbled onto this song by accident and am I so glad I did. I loved this song I remember my mother use to sing this song. I love your arrangement. I'm desperately trying to learn jazz and having been trained in classical music find it very difficult to improvise like that! Is there sheet music to your arrangement?

Very very nice! Isn't this the tune "Memories of You" by Eubie Blake rather than Charleston Rag? I believe Charleston rag was in Bb Minor and this definitely doesn't sound minor?

What kind of keyboard do you have?

Hi Stimey, I have the yamaha dgx 620 grand piano with graded hammer keyboard, the sound is not standard to the keyboard, the sound is with Tascam Gigastudio, Steinway D from sampletekk, need PC with 3000 Mhz, Soundcard with GSIF, 2 gb ram and of approximately 15 gb space to load this piano

Thanks Creolelady281, there is a big difference, especially the Acoustic Piano has a much more dynamic high, which allows even more than express touch. I love the Acoustic Piano.

Alfonso! Great of you to return to us with this soothing rendition of a song written before many of our grandparents were born! I love how yours pours out and sustains the gentle mood -- apropos of reflecting on "memories." The ending made me remember a favorite pianist/composer: Henry Mancini.
