@Kramer3278 was going to get out yesterday but it rained too! the days being longer will be great, I have been having to stop detecting about 1630 each day because it gets too dark, so very annoying
@madsonicboating yeah hat would be the ground balancing. I owned a detector identical to yours and had issues with the besch. Something to do with the salt being conductive. For what they cost tho they do a great job, multiply what yours cost by 6 and thats what I paid in the end for mine with tax and postage added to it!
@PreservingHistory65 I had requests from my viewers in the US for more information regarding our coins so I did this for you guys. I am open to filming and explaining anything about New Zealand and what we get here for my overseas viewers, so if there are any requests please dont be shy to ask, I will do what I can on my next video for you
@RecoveringRelics i am glad i have a positive influence :) i returned to the beach a week ago and filmed another video, found a bunch more things, video will be posted in a week
Thanks for showing us the different coins. The ones you can't spend are really quite useless then? Here in the states, all the coins we find can be spent but I throw away the new zinc pennies because they corrode quite fast in the ground and are usually not very presentable.
@Daddydigger1 from what i have heard the older decimals we cant spent can only be cashed in in a bank in wellington which is a good 4 hours away from me, and they would want them in good condition aswell, the majority of the ones i dig look pretty bad. I dont mind too much, my ultimate goal is to fill up a wooden chest i made with them
Great video Mark. Like you, we got the rain too! Makes it hard to detect..
Good news is that the shortest day of the year is almost here.. so our days will get longer..

another great vid dude thanks for taking us along on the beach. I'm jealous cos my chinese detector just does not like wet sand/salt!
