@yuenj01 He was doing Judo long before he did BJJ which explains his excellence at throwing techniques. The reason he's good at both standing and ground isn't because he is BJJ it's because he cross-trains/merges BJJ AND Judo.

@yuenj01 He's been doing Judo since he was a child. He was an international-level Judo competitor. Most pure BJJ guys are horrible on their feet.
