  • Jen as Anouk Aimee is so yum. :)

  • lol umbongi

  • is there a part 3?

  • @Funnybizwiz no, no part 3

  • This was a riot - especially the Juliet of the Spirits bit - but where's the ending scene where Jennifer decks Dawn?

  • Until he ends out of money and then he has to stop filming ..... that is so funny !

  • I love Jennifer Saunders Black Dress in this ^_^

  • i love this! saw it years and knew it by heart. went for years saying 'mir curdo, mir curdo.'(aplogies to all italians)this is one of their finest sketches. beatifully pointless. thank you for posting!

  • Are you sure they haven't been dubbed?

  • They have been dubbed, but by themselves.

  • I am absolutely stunned and impressed that Dawn and Jen actually did their own voice parts for this sketch! Extremely impressive actually. I mean, I know Jen spent a year in Italy after high school, but after so many years it's remarkable how well she can speak the language. Dawn's speaking of it is even more impressive because she doesn't speak it at all (at least as far as I know). Anyhow, great sketch! LMAO..Thanks for posting Dee! xxx

  • What is OMBONGO- OMGONGHI?

I love the parody of La Dolce Vita with the Trevi fountain, and Dawn is spot on like Anita Ekberg in Sylvia's role and Jennifer as Anouk Aimee as Maddalena. "What's the matter with you, then? You've got a rod stuck up up your ass, or what?"

  • The Spanish o vs. the Italian i -- I think that's all it was about. People confuse the two.

  • Um Bongo is a fruity drink in a carton, very suitable for taking on a picnic to have with your panini.

Jen just calls it Um Bongi because they are meant to be speaking Italian and British people think all Italian words end in i.

  • Thank you for the clarification. Most kind.

  • Oh I love it when she falls off the swing! So funny! Thanks for posting this.

  • Great!

  • Jennifer spent two years in Italy, so it makes sense that she speaks the language so well.

  • I think she probably knows a few words, and pronunciation. I can see Jennifer just winging it, as well as Dawn, lmao.

  • Eccezionale!

  • Absolutely brilliant!! Thank you so much for uploading it.

  • "Ho portato dei panini!"

ahahah, this is funny! I'm Italian and seeing French & Saunders talking my language is just amazing!!!

  • hahaha, thank you

  • ur welcome ;)
