  • This is the actor from Dogma.

  • At the end when she said: "Why should I believe a word you say?"

He should have said: "Cause Cosmonauts don't lie."

    =P

  • @lawgick Haha, nice one

  • I must say althought it's still a thrill to find out something more about your favorite movies it's once again a powerful statement in favor of editing and against those ultimate edition/extended director's cut edition .... this scene was average, unnecessary and would have slowed down the movie.

  • what a crappy scene no wonder it got deleted

  • Why are they walking in the middle of the road?

  • Wow. So glad they deleted this completely useless scene.

I was going to say that it's possible that the last 20 seconds redeem it, but even that part ends kind of ridiculously.

  • god, his accent is so fucking fake!!!!!!!!

  • @marneebox have you ever lived in south boston? i lived there for 10 years of my life. this is how almost everyone talks.

  • @audreyfan855 no but my dad's from there and he pretty much talks like that but most actors over do it that it's annoying. also they give people from boston a bad reputation, like we have no class.

  • This wasn't on the DVD. Where did you get this?

  • @UltraProle21 wasn't part of the deleted scenes section i mean.

  • i like how there are no cars driving threw the streets at that time of day and they are just standing in the middle of the street having a conversation! LOL

  • this deleted scene basically reveals what everyone really think about Will, and this is something that assured it as a reality in the film

  • She's wearing a 1950's style bullet bra?

  • The only Sullivan in the book in South Boston? there's your biggest foul in the scene right there ked.

  • @zacharysweaver

She says, "You were the only Sullivan in the phone book," because she was being a smartass. And then follows that sentence immediately up with, "We dropped you off here the other night, remember?"

  • "You were the only Sullivan in the phone book" hahahahahahahaha

  • whoa, hes watching an anime in good will hunting oO

  • yah chuckie got good taste in anime!!

  • Jeez, with the anime at the opening, I thought for a few secs that I'd been Rickrolled...

  • kudos to the editor for cutting this scene from the film. its clear most of this is improvisation...this is why they invented DVDs with "deleted scenes".

  • This is a very well done scene but I guess I can see why they left it out.

  • Thanks Alex & Co. for the blog and the deleted scenes. This is my favorite movie of all time. I remember seeing the previews on the TV, where Matt Damon's character says, "Let the healing begin." I thought I was going to HATE this movie. I've never called it that wrong in my life, and thank God!

  • Yay he's watching Ghost In The Shell =D

  • I own a published copy of the original screenplay. I read this scene and later when I saw the movie, I wondered why they didn't leave this in the movie. This heart-to-heart really worked. Here we see Chuckie and Skylar having some kind of chemistry. And Affleck himself needed more screen-time as Will's BFF. It was nice to see her connecting with his crowd.

--Thank to the blogwillhunting, Dane Youssef

NOTE: That's the movie "Ghost In The Shell" he's watching.

  • @64Retro i have the dvd but it doesn't have any special features :(

  • Amazing! I didn't even know these scenes existed! Good Will Hunting is my favorite movie of all times, so thanks a heap for putting this up. I also discovered your blog yesterday and I must say it's a great read. This movie really takes me back to my teens everytime I watch it. God I miss the 90'. Again, thanks for the vid!

  • @64Retro Wow; what a nice comment! Check out the Good Will Hunting DVD for more deleted scenes. This one with Chuckie and Skylar is one of the best though...

  • @blogwillhunting Will you be putting up some more deleted scenes? Where I live they don't sell the dvd (i've looked for it already).
