I have watched every one of Nina's video, and finally decided to get an youtube account to subscribe to this channel, without knowing that this was the last video. It is sad to know that I won't get to see her growing up anymore, but I think it is probably for the best. I really enjoy watching all her videos, and they kinda heal me. My parent split when I was young, and my father had never done things with me the way you did with Nina, nor did he ever dote on me. I love Nina! Genki de ne!

This brought tears to my eyes. In a lot of your videos I felt such a strong bond between Papa and Nina and it always made me think of my childhood with my father. She is just the sweetest, most precious, adorable girl I've ever seen! I've always said my entire life that "I don't ever want to have kids!", but these videos of Nina really make me unsure of something I thought I was positive about from the time I was old enough to understand the concept!

I learned 日本語on my own, as the years passed by. I do want to attend formal Japanese classes, so I can study kanji reading and writing properly. Of course, I also want to travel to Japan, someday. :) これからもがんばります！家族と一緒にすてきなクリスマスをすごしてください＾＾ I'm sure by next school year, Nina will have a great time in big school. :)

@nikster105 If you feel ready to devote a LOT of your time to child rearing, then I definitely recommend having kids. There are certainly added challenges/questions involved with raising a multi-cultural kid (where will you live, which language will be dominant, what cultural values are most important...) but it can also be liberating, in that you can adopt aspects of both worlds. I think international kids have a significant roll to play in promoting cultural and racial acceptance.

Japan is beautiful, I visited friends Tokyo (Oyama) in late September and I'm planning to return sometime in the coming spring if all goes well. Until then I'll enjoy your new channel and maybe find some new interesting spots to experience later on myself.

This brought tears to my eyes. In a lot of your videos I felt such a strong bond between Papa and Nina and it always made me think of my childhood with my father. He's not gone but I hardly see him since my parents separated when I was 13. Thank you for reminding me of all the good times. Love to you, Nina. Sweetest little girl on your side of the world.

Cant believe its been 6yrs..randomly came across ur channel 4 or so yrs ago&subscribed used to keep up with all the Nina fun times but got busy in my own little life.. finaly made time to catch up&sad to know this is it :'(.... She is just the sweetest, most precious, adorable girl I've ever seen! I've always said my entire life that "I don't ever want to have kids!", but these videos of Nina really make me unsure of something I thought I was positive about from the time I was old enough to understand the concept!
I'm sad that there won't be any more videos of her, but I think you're making a sensible choice - the one thats best for HER, not us. I commend you for that. You two are great parents, wish you all the best!

@geofg それを聞いて嬉しいです！本当にありがとうございました。I was home-schooled in 2006, and I became quite the shut-in. I started watching Japanese dramas and listening to music, and that kept me happy. I learned 日本語on my own, as the years passed by. I do want to attend formal Japanese classes, so I can study kanji reading and writing properly. Of course, I also want to travel to Japan, someday. :) これからもがんばります！家族と一緒にすてきなクリスマスをすごしてください＾＾ I'm sure by next school year, Nina will have a great time in big school. :)

@nikster105 If you feel ready to devote a LOT of your time to child rearing, then I definitely recommend having kids. There are certainly added challenges/questions involved with raising a multi-cultural kid (where will you live, which language will be dominant, what cultural values are most important...) but it can also be liberating, in that you can adopt aspects of both worlds. I think international kids have a significant roll to play in promoting cultural and racial acceptance.

geofg, thank you for sharing your beautiful daughter through all of youtube. It's been an absolute privilege and honour watching her grow up these videos. She has always brought a smile to my face.
On top of all of this, you making the right decision to allow her some privacy and room to grow. This is a sign of amazing parenting; Not only should you be proud for your daughter, but also yourself for making the choice that was best suited for her needs.

Thank you for all Nina videos that you uploaded, all of you videos makes me smile. I just wish that I will have a daughter that cute and smart like her.
