  • Cant you put off the "fork" on the end of the rifle? I think it would rather be nicer to aim with an eotech without the fork.

  • the front sight is in the sight picture but not in the way of the aiming reticle. Besides, it needs to be there to use with the flipup rear backup ironsight.

  • You must be perfect because you have no "gun experts" bitching at you about anything! Quite a feat on youtube! I have a flattop and am dying to get my Eotech as soon as money allows. Did you need any adaptors or anything to raise it up? I was afraid my front site would be in the way, but it appears that your Eotech is mounted straight to the rails.

  • @TummyLover Haha, thank you! It is kind of strange that no 'Internet Commandoes' have said anything. Thanks man! Yes I have the EOTech mounted right on the rail. I can see the frontsight in my sightpicture but it is lower than the EOTech reticle so its all good. I would prefer to have a front flipup but not enough to actually buy one and do the work to get the pinned flashhider off.

  • @TummyLover I HIGHLY suggest the EOTech that takes AA batts. It has a HUGE batt life compaired to mine (that takes N-Cell batts).

  • Ah thanks for the info. I like the idea of a flip up but I also like the look of the standard one. As soon as Uncle Sam sends me my check I'm off to the gun store! Ironic huh?

  • I like how little recoil there is on the M4. I was firing at a target about 10 meters away as fast as I could pull the trigger (with iron sights) and I still got a relatively good grouping.

  • I shot this gun before! its has almost no recoil (at least the model i was firing) but its loud as fuck! it echoed across the entire Leigh Valley!

  • hell yea there is a lot of gun powder behind that 223!

  • im thinking of picking up an eotech for my ar15. ive never used one. are you using the front site when you shoot? i have a fixed carry handle and would have to mount it off that with an upgrade. i wonder how that shit would work

  • I would highly recommend the EOTech for quick target acquisition. No you do not use the front site with an EOTech. Just put the reticle on the target and fire. It will mount on top of the harry handle with a rail adapter. It will be a little higher than normal but I am sure you could get use to it.

  • thanks for the reply.. a couple people i was talking to said the eo tech is great for close range but no good at all for long range(200-400 yards). what are your thoughts on that?

  • yes that is correct because the EOTech is non-magnified. Now you can get the magnifier that attaches to the rail behind the sight itself.

  • The D.C. sniper seemed to do ok with one at longer ranges.....and that was a kid.

  • their more money than my rifle was though, sry cant bring myself to pay that much i'd rather buy another rifle:) peace cool vid btw

  • M4A1 is my fav gun, second fav is the G36, 3rd is MP5

  • put down the cod

  • lol Agreed. Probably never shot one of those guns in his life.

  • EOtechs sights are my personal favourite.

  • sweet gun

    nice butterfly knife vid

  • thank you.

  • very compact and lightweight rifle with astounding range.sweet..

  • hey, i have an AR-15 and just bought an eotech. do you by any chance have the 3x magnifier for it or the nightvision? if so, are they worth it? nice land btw

  • I'm sorry, I don't.

  • yea, um , how did you get your hands on an M4, aren't they highly illegal in the entire continental US, unless maybe if you live in New Hampshire, you know, "live free or die"

  • m4's are 100% legal as long as the barrel is 16" or longer. At least they are for now. Obama will probably re institute the gun ban which will make "assault weapons (made up term)" illegal to buy. Nice thing is that the US Constitution Article I Section 9 states Congress cannot take away the weapons that are already produced (they are preban) so I will be able to keep mine. Also keep in mind, these M4's are no more dangerous than a common hunting rifle. Its a myth that they are.

  • one of my friends is building one. costing his nearly 1.3k. not bad i say.

  • how do you get ur hands on that

  • Bought it at a gun shop. Maybe I don't understand your question.

  • Dude, you're shooting uphill, and there's homes on top of that hill. Way to go. Wouldn't like my wife and kids playing in the yard while there's guys shooting their high power rifles in their direction.

  • you need to look a little closer. There are no homes out there in any direction for 4 miles. And we were shooting at the base of the hill.

  • lol "High Powered Rifles" .223 is considered a Varmint Round. hahaha. But no joke, it can and will kill you.

  • @fusionstar916 from 5-700 yards at that with a trained shooter and 77 grain match ammo

  • Another thing I noticed. Your stance is decent. You probably know all about other shooters on youtube, who stick their arms out and sort of "chicken wing". Good to see that at least somebody gets it!

Keep those elbows tucked in :-)

  • Hey thanks for the compliment! I know just how you feel. Me and the guys I shoot with take our procedures and techniques very seriously. We feel that if you train wrong, you will never get better. You have to train correctly to get better.

  • how much was your m4?

  • This one was $1125

  • they are one of the best available, their definitely worth the money if you can keep them clean

  • Sweet rig. How does the Surefire rail compare to, say, the KAC one?

  • I have never owned a Knights Arm. rail system before but I have held weapons with them. The Surefire seems just as solid. No tweeks or creeks. I have zero complaints about the surefire rail.
