B rate musicianship. G&R always sounded like a half-stoned garage band that hit paydirt due to their grunge look...sorta like they hadn't showered in a week. Slash's guitar leads remind me of my little fat friend, Hal Webb from the ninth grade. Little more than a scale player who couldn't shift keys if someone stood behind him and guided him to the proper frets. This band was a disgrace to modern music. Today, they're so burned out that they can't even find their instruments. Our gain.

slash goes more into the melodic harmony part

keep this aspect in mind im sure slash could play in the same technique level as vai and satriani but guitar playing is always an expression of the personal feelings

and thats why they differ
