Ray Periera's percussion solo from 5:00 is brilliant, he is one of the few percussionists who can solo in 5/4 with dynamics and feel.. He puts so much emotion into his performance.. A privilage to watch and listen..Thanks for posting this
Fabulous music by Melbourne's unique and wonderful 'W.O.W.'!
But next time please get a director/photographer with enough musical nous to focus on the soloist when they are playing their solos, rather than other, irrelevant incidents, no matter how photogenic they may be.
Kick arse track from a kick arse band. Clear favourite from WOW's album 'Footscray Station'. Named after a local (Footscray) kebab shop - Amasya - hence the Middle Eastern(esque) groove. If you happen to be in the Western suburbs of Melbourne, check out Amasya too! Ask for their fantastic home-made chilli dip - they tell me it's used to cure colds back in the old country - and I believe them!! ;)
thank you for the feedback
i agree ray is an incredible talent and it's a kicking solo
cheers
