@ShowdownThe Hello, the only ignorant questions are the ones not asked. I believe the iPhone power socket works both ways depending on compatibility of hardware/ software. In this video I am using a frequency to directly power an LED by connecting it through a Starship Rodin Coil. The LED will not turn on unless the energy is first amplified in some way. You can use the energy to power a phone, but you have to first regulate the electricity into a steady voltage.
Hello friend, thank you for the compliment. The wire gauges I used for this particular coil are 3 26gauge wires and 1 24gauge wire. The coil is very simple to make with an evenly spaced jig, and you could also change the gauge of the wire depending on your application. Also, the connecting wire is a standard stereo 1/8 headphone wire. The diametrically magnetized neodymium magnet in the center is not needed, but it does allow you to hear the frequency.
Hi,
Excuse my ignorance as I know nothing about electronics.
That's tops. I noticed you used the headphone socket.
Is it possible to use the power out socket on the iphone to supple power to another device or is it strictly a power in socket only?
I'm wonder whether I could use the iphone to charge another device or use as a direct power supply for a light.

thanks!
