Actually, in the early 90' they were kinda dating in the comics, They almost had a kind of a relationship. But Peter never was sure, if he could thrust the Black Cat. When the two went out to hunt villians, they even kissed a couple of times. But only with the masks on. The movie kissing scene even refers to that! Tere are so many good stories on old paper!!!
