Thank you, yes I am still looking for the answer lol! I tried the software that sony comes with Motion Browser I think, but it converts only when the files are on the camera. When I move them to my hardrive they become unconvertable :S

Anyway, you can import any video format into Vegas Pro 8 and render (convert, or how ever you want to call it) it into any other format. Options are limitless really. I rendered my video according to this guys settings - watch?v=GxH2G6NIkys

so from this footate even tho the TG1 has only a 1490k pixel sensor, its still able to give crystal clear pictures AND stunning slow motion capture aswell ??
Awsome. I am eagerly waiting for this unit to come out in May, although I think I am going to wait and read some reviews first. If this camera is anything like the PCM-D1 it is going to be awsome as far as the way it is built. I have the PCM-D1 and all I can say about it is, AWSOME!!

iPod用で変換しているんですか。ものすごい綺麗ですよね。俺はいつもPC用高画質で変換していますが、ファイルが重くなるだけです（笑）。さすがソニー音も綺麗ですよね。

do you convert the files to mpeg, avi, wmv, mov... before uploading them to youtube or do you upload them as *.mts
What software/process did you use to convert the files if so?
I am having hard time trying to convert mts files to standard formats. :-(

I think the blurring stability is important in the HD camcorder. Vertical style is bad blurring stability. Horizontal type is better than it.
But I'm a video blogger. Most important thing is mobility than stability. So I choose the TG1.
