Oh, no. This one isn't even close to as good as the original. I dunno whats wrong with you, but whatever. It just doesn't have as good of a vibe, ya know? Like i cant listen to this for fun. Maybe for her skill as a singer, but for entertainment switchfoot is the only hope for this song.

If you're looking to listen to someone sing, then yeah this one is better. But if you're looking for an overall more entertaining song, its the original, because the instruments sound far better, this one is dull. That makes sesne, if you disagree then you just have something against switchfoot. Or have bad taste in music :P

Sorry pal, i just think switchfoot's original is far superior to mandy's. I even might like Jon's voice better too. It has a more distinct sound. It really doesn't matter, its not like im going to convince you, so i don't know why i even bother.

Indeed. I think i just don't like female singers for some reason... I prefer deep singers, and girls are pretty much always high. As for this song, if she sung to switchfoot's version it might sound better because the original had much better musicianship involved with instruments and such.
