AnimalPlanetTV , you should do a documentary on Swansea Jack - the punters would really love it, wherever they are from.
And one on the origins of the Corgi, from West Wales, North Pembrokeshire and South Cardiganshire, bred to nip at heels of cattle, driving them to market, through the muddy roads, in very old times.
Anyone known about the story of Swansea Jack from Swansea, who used to save people in the docks there, young kids that get into trouble usually who swam there during the summer months, or drunken sailors trying to get bck on ship after a night on the heavy? He was a Newfoundland breed of dog - see if I can find a clip....
@mollyhndrsn1 A Labrador Retriever was bred to collect shot/arrowed ducks and other birds from marsh pools, so they are bred to be able to swim, so that is why he gets excited in this clip when he is locked indoors seeing people splash about in the swimming pool. And his instinct is to grab them and take them onshore.
Never had a pet dog, only a working dog - my grandfather's family used corgis to drive cattle, and this is about eighty years ago, before cattle trucks. Pet dogs???
There is scientific proof that owing a pet can help prevent stress, depression, anxiety and social disorders as well as increasing a human's lifespan. They are anything but useless.
What the world needs to do is stop spending so much money on war, political campaigns and wasted food. Thats how we could save the third word countries. The pure amount of food each country wastes and the money each country wastes could have ended poverty years ago.
@Kzinix Me too, but sometimes it helps in slightly rationalizing the behavior to a person who doesn't train their animals. I can tell the dog is nervous but Victoria kinda knew better why the dog was doing that because she actually works with them for a living.
We had a mutt for a dog. One of the times I went for a swim in the lake and was diving to pick up rocks, he began making unhappy whining sounds from the shore. Then he swam after me and began doggie-paddling me to death, lol. Last time we let him near the shore when we were swimming!!
i have so much stuff to say 5 things number 1: i love victoria number 2: poor dogs! number3: victoria can you come to my nieghbors house and train there dog(jk) number4:is thi9s suppose to happen because this kept freezing on me! and last but not least number 5:is there another part i really want to see it face it im a victoria fan

Are the girl's gay?? Cause i saw this Part on tv and they are married but i don't know if they are gay or what??? cause if they are i'll say "WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!!" so someone please tell me!!!!
Aw, hip displacia. Common among labs. He knows it hurts when immediate pain happens when he jumps into the pool, but his fears over power his pain. Too bad this is only part of the episode and doesn't show the end results where the dog's view changes from "My owner is drowning and I must save them" to, "I don't need to save them for there is no danger here." I love this show. :)

Victoria Stilwell is British. She has an accent and is a nice woman. She is a dog trainer.

"He's trying to save her." Right, by swimming over the girl? O_o
I hate it when people humanize animals.

How did they solve this issue again? Calm the dogs indoors and keep a gate up? It's been so long ago I can't remember.
