I do it looking to the left then pulling the contacts to the right for the right eye, and vice versa for the left eye, instead of looking up.

I just tried it, and it finally worked.

I used zombie contacts.

Is it okay for my eyes to sting a little bit and tear up after I take them out?

Or is it just my eyes? (Do I have wrong eye shapes?)

When I put then on, it was really irritating, and it kept blinking for a few minutes.

Is this normal? We just have to adjust, right? Answers would be really appreciated, thanks!

@highasakiteex3 I'd say get a different pair of contacts. If the contacts are right for you, there will be no irritation and you wont feel a thing. And if they are stinging it might be your eyes having a bad reaction to the lense.

Err I wouldn't do it this way, much higher risk of the lens sliding down, which can be very annoying.

using tongs for lenses are much easier. just pinch them out. :D

You have big eyes. I guess that helps too. How big is the diameter of your lens? Must be 15 or so :).

Also If you put them in in the morning wash your face and hands first, then put in your lenses and then hair gel. That's the best way to do it.

A tip for putting in your lenses. If you can't stand too much cleaning fluid put your lens on one finger after taking it out of the container. Then lay your other finger against the edge of the lens and a little comes out. Then it stings a little less.

You're welcome. Oh and take note of this: People say the contact "jumps" off your finger to your eye, it doesn't work like that. You have to touch your eye and hold it there while moving your eye, then look at your finger at pull away. :)
