This was the first game I played on my uncle's ZX Spectrum when I was younger. I don't remember playing it for very long though it does make me feel warm with old-school nostalgia.

This game aswell as Pitsop, Manic Miner and jetpac were the first games I encountered. Didn't own a spectrum, had to wait till 1984 for a commodore 64.

These games had a certain charm about them. They were so basic yet SOOO addictive!

I loved Hungry Horace and Horace and the Spiders too. I always thought of Horace is a Hippo in my own mind. Maybe because of Hungry Horace (Hungry Hippos)

I have 2 copies of this game and on one it has a misprint on the side saying 'HUNGRY HORACE' instead of HORACE GOES SKIING'

TBH, I can see the appeal for back then, but I wouldn't play it anymore. Horace and the Spiders is addictive, but I rather play a decent platform type game, I would even prefer Manic Miner and that game really annoys me, even though I played it loads.
