  • Paul you still put on a hell of a show.

  • I CAN UNDERSTAND HOW YOU CAN PLAY RYTHEM GUITAR AND SING BUT BASS AND SINGING IS REALLY HARD

  • @wiecbb11 PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT

  • I'm convinced that this band he's had together for the last decade is THE best backup band to EVER play behind him.

  • From a distance that could pass for the original bass, but up close, it's not.

  • @WanagiAkicita what?

  • @Stevesk0011 The one that's supposed to be himself is way over the top. He overdid it, like if Shatner was doing the pauses and drama faces on purpose, and at 150% output.

Oh wait, wrong Paul McCartney Coming Up. Uh, yeah, that's not the same bass he started with.

  • I would KILL, to see this man in concert!

  • great song.

  • The saddest part to me was when he had to sing Lindas part :l

  • MIRA LO QUE ESSS!!!

  • Never knew about this. What year was it?

  • @Onlymusical July 15 2009, its on description

  • I love him and he's over 64! LOL When he did that song all those years ago it seemed so old "When I'm 64" ♥♥♥ Now I'm turing 60!!! YIKES! This is one of my favs! Comin Up Like Flower!!!

  • HOW THE HELL DOES MACCA CREATE THE BRASS FOR ' COMING UP' IN A LIVE SETTING LIKE THAT LIVE IN NEW YORK ON TOP OF A BALCONY? I'VE ALWAYS BEEN A HUGE FAN I DO APPRECIATE LENNON AS WELL BUT REALLY LOVE MACCA WHEN HE DOES NUMBERS LIKE 'COMING UP' & 'GET BACK' ETC ETC

  • @walker55able It was done with synthesizers. Which is how Paul did it on the studio version on McCartney II in 1980. In the original live version, there was an actual horn section playing on stage with Wings in 1979.

  • I was there!

  • Ele é foda!

  • O que há com essas pessoas? O maior artista de todos os tempos está cantando e eles parados mexendo a porra da cabeça.

  • John Lennon cites this song as one of the reasons he wanted to record again,he really digged it.If you listen to," I dont wanna face it." by John shades of influence there.

  • すげー、すげー、すげー、すげ~っ!

  • One person is coming down xD

  • look at his bass playing at 2:14, great version of coming up because it's a little bit different compared to other live versions.

  • @starship21ZNA9 The Hofner seems like it improves with age. It growls real nice here.

  • Sorry man but this bass line isn't hard. He was just sliding up the neck... very basic.

  • I don't understand how things work in america... You can see cars and cabs passing 50 meters far from the stage and they seems don't know what is going on.. anyway.. this will live forever..

  • @fcastro04 yeah i was thinkin the same thing some people are just stupid i mean they are in front of the living legend .. and the most amazing successfull musician in histyr and they are like ..w tf is going on??

  • coming up

  • please if someone did a cover post me to watch it

  • tsss amo esta version de la cancion:D

  • Paul McCartney is the best alive musican in the world. I love him. Beatles, Wings, Solo, Fireman, everything has fantastic songs, for all time !

  • DO IT BABY PAULIE! PETER GUNN IT NEAR THE END! I couldn't have said it better myself at the very end..."THERE IS NO OFF POSITION ON THE GENIUS SWITCH!" OW OW OW! YAAAAAYYYYY UH!

  • He must have played an extended set to the crowd(obviously) because "on air" he only played two songs

  • @snoogans999 that is pretty awesome that they seemlessly transition into the Peter Gunn Theme

  • @snoogans999 Some of Dave's bigger name musical acts who are so inclined will perform several more songs after the show taping is over. The performance is recorded and put on the Late Show's web site in a section called "Live on Letterman".

  • I am going to his concert in a little over a month. I can't wait!!!

  • you are the best rocker i ever saw

  • It's not just the music, anyone who lived through the beatles era must also point out that life was different, it was so humane no nastyness to one other, that is what people of my age remember and love.

  • Paul is using his 1963 Hofner bass which is the same one he used on the Ed Sullivan Show in this same theatre.....over 4 decades ago. Amazing! Rock on Paul!

  • Nice riff...think he stole it from domino- van morrison

  • 67 and still rockin.

  • That drummer is bad ass! Paul knows how to pick em.

  • Paul McCartney was born in Liverpool, England, on June 18, 1942. The best songwriter/singer to have ever lived.

  • He is the Beethoven of Rock n Roll Music!!! Long Live Sir Paul Mccartney!!!!!!!!!!!!!! All The Best!!!

  • @DAX031280 I couldn't agree more. Sir Paul is awesome!!!!!!!

  • Rock on Paul into the NEW DECADE!
