  • Lampropelma are pretty easy to sex as well. Even just before the ultimate molt.

  • hai jon i have a female brachypelma albopilosum

i have her 7 months she eats alot and she didnt molt yet she is 14 or 15 cm

you think shes ready to breed ?

  • @ScreamFireAim

I'd wait for her to molt, then she will be ready to breed.

  • hey, my rosie molted near the end of august last year, and she is 11-12 years old, is it ok if i mate her now? Or should i wait till the next molt?

  • @FightAgainstGrenades

    its worth a shot

  • @Jon3800 ok because i find a guy that can sell me a mature male, and i really want to breed my rosie, also she is very calm in this period, well at least since the last time she gave me a threat posture like 2 weeks ago, man that day she was mad as hell. But there is only one problem, the last time she ate was almost 2 months ago, and she doesn't want to eat

  • @Jon3800 i've seen the pictures of the male, almost as big as the female and is RCF

  • hey jon do you know how long it takes a g.rosea to lay sac

  • @gecko091

    I don't unfortunately. Likely 3-4 months

  • Jon after you mated the and you got a successful sac how do you care for all the nymphs and raise them?

  • @990Brogan

you remove the sac and incubate them into a incubator similar to what RobC has done. I've never made a vid about that yet since I never got to that point..If you remember, the only time I got a sac was from those H.maculata. It wasn't good, because I kept it way too dry and pulled it out too late.

  • Fantastic, informative vids keep up the great work!

  • @Jon3800

Very educational and excellent as always:-)

  • An awesome video and very informative thanks. Will help if i ever breed my B.Smithi.

  • Resident Evil 4 FTW!

    Great Vid! :DD

  • Hey Jon I'm about to get a 1+ inch Pterinochilus murinis sling. I know they like it bone dry but do I keep the substrate a little moist as a sling? How fast is its growth rate?

  • @kinglaz85

keep it slightly moist, not soaking wet. I really couldn't tell you from experience about the OBT's growth rate when it's sling because I've always bought sub-adults...from what I said in T mythbuster video 7 on the OBTs it will probably be full size within 3-4 years if well cared for

  • @kinglaz85 OBTs grow very fast, one would say they molt everytime you blink

  • Thats the kinda video i've been waiting for. Very informative. Thanks John. from all of us.

  • its odd people would dislike.good videos maybe there .just idiots?? btw for a goliath birdeater for breeding a Larger 20-35 gallon plexiglass tank would work.. since glass is too expensive in canada.. Acrylic cages are Awsome looking

hope you get a egg sack sometime !!!! you got a lotta Mature males

  • @ultum4tegunz

A 10 gallon is MORE than enough room to make Theraphosas. As you know Gretel was mated in her 10g and posed no threat to the male.

  • I guess The one person who dislike this vid doesn't know how to mate Ts LOL

  • @Jon3800 I do not know why there are always a few people that dislike great videos. I have noticed it on every youtube channel. I think that there are some people on youtube that just press thumbs down all the time no matter what the content of the video is. I don't get it but that is youtube for you.

  • @Jon3800 make that 2 people who dont know...get it 2 dislikes lol

  • Great video sir!
