best what? central midfielder in the world!!. Its debateable, players like Paul scholes, cesc fabregas possess skills that put them above pirlo. I am a big fan of pirlos passing and set piece play but he plays so deep in midfield so he has time and space plus gattuso does all his dirty work. Scholes and fabregas posses the ability to score goals in open play, both wonderful passers of the ball and don't depend on anyone.
