OK, I was only motivated to hear how the Daleks sounded like ever since a newspaper reported Kimi Räikkönen having a "Dalek-like" voice back in '07. But this is 2011 and I've only just seen this original[-ish] clip... D: that, and someone on deviantART made DW/APH crossovers.
@myownprivatejoke I know he was inclined to fluff his lines due to the nature of television production in those days, they couldn't really stop and start as they do now - very few scenes were done in more than one take and remember, the guy was developing arteriosclerosis. Still, he really was The Doctor and he had immense power and presence.
@myownprivatejoke I presume your response is to my comment on Robomen. It's just they were still in their civvies and probably not very nice to be near.
In the first Dalek story they drew their power through the floor and couldn't go outside. The disc was an addition to explain how the Daleks might receive energy and move beyond the confines of their city to invade other planets.
i like it, love the way the doctors about to slap that dalek for being lippy ( well sort of! obviously daleks don`t have lips, OH YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN )
I really disliked it. Plot holes you could fly a Dalek saucer through, no logic to the way the story progressed, cringe-worthy moments, and two ludicrous twists at the end. Awful.
I was a bit down about the return of Donna, until I decided to watch The Runaway Bride again, and it totally changed my outlook. The last time we saw Donna she was following on from Rose. This time, seeing her as a reaplcement to Martha, she was brilliant! Funny and refreshing.
i didnt like the idea of donnas return! but rewatchin the runaway bride its a brilliant episode! i think it could work. havin said that i like most companions. i particually like martha! even tho everyone else think shes worse than rose! a lie in my opinion
wish they hadnt gotten rid of her. she didnt quiet work when she was brought back tho. but was brilliant in torchwood. think her development in torchwood made it difficult for her to move back to who cos she seemed like shed taken a step back from the torchwood arc
I know what you mean, it was as if RTD was so terrified of making the Master seem like a typical super villain, that he decided to make him a tragic nutcase instead! since when is the Master someone I feel really sorry for?

The Robomen are a chilling concept - Dalek-possessed zombies wandering about - I am sure they must have stunk to high heaven.

jampox101 1 year ago
"We are the masters of the Earth!"
"Not for long."
"Obey us or die!"
"Die? And just who are oyu to condemn us to death, hmm?"

@randomdave30 No, I was replying to your reply to my comment quoting the Doctor.
Now I'm very confused. :S

@myownprivatejoke Don't worry about it. It would have been better if I had left an original comment instead of responding to yours. Silly me!

Nice, that sounds MUCH better.

Good work. I agree with TARDISDOWNUNDER. That was much better than the voices in the original version of this episode.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
much better then the original crappy voices.

Nice... the Dalek voices could be dodgy in the old days.

Excellent stuff! What did you think of Last of the Timelords? Wasn't too sure myself. Loved the Master, but overall it was a bit of a mess.

Agreed. What on earth was the pixie Doctor all about?! And now Catherine Tate is going to be the assitant. Russell T Davies has lost the plot.
