hi have installed a power saver 50 kw and it has reduced my total kw down to 890 kw i bought the power saver 50 kw for $40 AUD and plugs into wall socket nearest to the meter box ..i recommend this
unsolicited? are you sure this "test" wasn't tainted or compromised in any way? besides, it's just gonna be a couple capacitors. no complex gear that would have a chance of lowering bills? besides, if they want to lower their bill, they can simply cut back on usage. that "wasted energy" stuff, is just BS; the electricity service that comes to a house is not going to simply float away; otherwise, the bill would be higher based on keeping the clouds running.
@HappyDiscoDeath oh, wait, the clouds don't use 120 volts! this is just a giant scam. cutting back around the house is the only way to lower the bill, unless you believe that a several hundred dollar device that uses a couple $1 capacitors can somehow lower your utility bill. This is where the FTC needs to crack down; people coming up with miracle devices that claim to make your life easier but fail to do so. all they do is make the "inventor" a bit richer.
These electric "power savers" do not work ! They are a scam! Do your homework ! Watch your bills and make sure you are not subconsciously reducing your electric use, to justify the results. These results can be best obtained by monitoring "before and after" installations of this product.
Wow, this report should be listed in the dictionary as an example of BAD "investigative" reporting.
These power saving devices are a complete scam that rely on the fact that most people don't understand how electricity works, or is measured.
These devices lower the measured amps a motor draws, but raise its power factor, so the consumption in watts remains the same.
watts = amps x volts x power factor
Your electric meter only measures watts.
