Michael Fish wonders where "our summer's gone" in the weather clip and yet the summer of '95 was famously both very hot and very long with hardly any let-up, personally I remember one day in July standing out partly because it was briefly overclouded which was really unusual at the time. I can't believe that there was a period in June where it seemed the summer had gone away.
@Zagrebista it only really started to heat up in the second half of June, though in the south-west (where I was) it hadn't been as cloudy and cool in the first half of that month as it was in the south-east (where I had been until the year before).
