Its's really hard to say what Jesus Christ looked like while he was living here on Earth so I'll accept this particular view of the Lord Jesus Christ, but It would be interesting of course to see if she could paint Jesus more like darker skinned people or what she thinks about how he would look if he would appear if he was dark skinned.

While the artwork is beautiful, I do not believe it is from God. The LORD Jesus teaches repentance and faith, with consequence of hell or heaven. Akiane's paintings and message is generically 'spiritual'... and looks like Jehovah's witness' representations of heaven. @Rambo1073 The bible also tells us that WE are not to judge. I always love it when 'born agains' start judging who can and can't make it to heaven. That judgment is for God alone. Yes, I am Christian. Yes, I do believe we will ALL be judged...no I do not believe that God will only save those who are 'born again'. Read James 2:26 'Faith without works is dead'. You can have all the faith you want, if you don't LIVE the faith, you are not saved.

@Lusa5 I use to think the same thing but gained a new perspective: Our good is completely different than God's good. So good really has nothing to do with it because His standard is perfection. That said, it's His grace is what saves us and our willingness to accept this salvation. Once we do this we are born again.

@yourgoodfrienddave ................I know that Christians say that God is not the one who punishes, but it is rather by the free-will of that person to go to hell by committing evil or not......BUT, common Christians also say that you need to accept Jesus Christ to be saved from the perils of hell. It is also a common belief that the path to heaven is a narrow one, and a much greater quantity of people go to hell than heaven. Now why would God set up such a system?!?!..............

@yourgoodfrienddave why do you worship God? im not trying to criticize you or anything but I have been having serious trouble with my faith and I have recently let it go. The reason being is because I am confused at the concept of hell. If You believe that God created all things------all things includes hell, and I have heard stories of peoples near death experiences where they go to hell and experience a great burning sensation. While the artwork is beautiful, I do not believe it is from God. The LORD Jesus teaches repentance and faith, with consequence of hell or heaven. Akiane's paintings and message is generically 'spiritual'... and looks like Jehovah's witness' representations of heaven. Satan has no problem with being spiritual or believing in 'god', but repenting and believe in Jesus Christ he hates.

I heard about the boy whose name is Colton Burpo on youtube about 6 months before she gave me the book, which was written by his father. @chieflewal we can try to grasp the magnitude, but God is profoundly more than we can comprehend. if humans and animals share the traits of being a Mother and Father then this concept isn't a human trait. i believe the origins of this concept comes from the Divine Creator, God. not humans.
