Needed to say a few things, because I wasn't raised in Singapore I see where you are coming from. I'm s'porean but I have to agree that we can be very narrow minded and still are more conservative. I wouldn't say that our country is "perfect", I think it's because singaporeans now take things too much for granted. I think it's okay to be proud of our country but singapore literally started out as nothing so I have to defend us on that point.
