  • same as you. RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES was the best movie ever.

  • P.S.: I miss Caesar's speech like in the original, but I think that's to much to ask.

  • dude, thats the basic concept of Caesar... He does like the killing. I love how they kept that in this new movie. I they make a new one... And I hope we humans learn from our mistakes and regain our domain.

  • I like the one from 60s, its in my top 20 movies of all time

  • Very nice review got to go with rio and super 8 and Thor ^^

  • I loved Super 8! I haven't seen Rise of the Planet of the Apes just yet, but I also saw Captain America (which was pretty good) and of course the final Harry Potter which was excellent! Great review, I'm even more excited to go see "Rise" now! I've been rewatching the older ones all week =D

  • @MybasementReviews yeah, I loved loved loved Super 8, well done movie. I want to see the original Planet of The Apes, haven't seen that in forever! love that movie!

  • I havent seen many movies this year but Captain America is by far my favourite, not only was it filmed in my home city but it was damn near perfect.

  • Yay Sci's back, welcome back. :D

  • GREAT REVIEW, Sci. I really enjoyed the Rise of the Planet of the Apes as much as you did, and I agree with everything you've said.

I have seen A LOT of movies this summer, but my favorites are:

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 2, Super 8, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, X-Men: First Class, Cowboys & Aliens, and The Beaver (the most underrated movie of the summer).

  • I'd say Andy Serkis is one of the lead characters. He deserves credit!

  • dang your looking really pretty in this video ..yeah i heard noting but good things about this movie

  • way to give up the ending... not cool.

  • @ukraine1990 um...

  • @ukraine1990 Unless you have never seen ANY of the Planet of the Apes films, there is nothing that could possibly spoil a Planet of the Apes prequel. Even the RE-released cover of the original 1968 film spoils the end of the film...so unless you live under a rock..... yeah, I hope that was a joke...lol

  • Its been SO LONG since i've seen you! I've miss ya! Hopefully everything is all good with ya! BTW Loved apes. it was a very well made movie! Probably the best of the summer! couldn't agree more with ya.

  • @Channel23hahaha glad to see you again Channel23! yayay I'm so happy to be back!
