I think the Dutch version: "Ga in mijn schoenen staan" from "De Dijk" is better...! Not as quick as this Elvis version. The leadsinger from "De Dijk" has much mor feeling for the song... Ofcourse Elvis will be the King forever, but also a king can't do all things best... (sorry when my English is not perfect)

Elvis was concidered the King, becasue in the 50's every song he recorded out sold any one at time, and he did this consistently, so the media started calling him that. and it fits. Elvis though he never wrote his material, theres a lot of songwriters who do not sing, he was there voice! and what a voice he had.

I love that Elvis was and is so admired. It's kinda funny though, that he was considered the king of rock and roll, being that he didn't write any songs. A king should be somebody that writes, produces, and performs their songs in my book. No disrepect to Elvis, cuz I love him. In reality though, if you scan through all the artists, no one person should get that title. The ego hates that though. The ego always wants to put ONE person in that spotlight. It's not so though. Elvis might have had a bit if weight due to his meds but even then ...I have his last concert ...he wasnt as fat or anything unshapely. Elvis was a very shapely man with awesome beauty to match any man in his prime even now! And wether slightly heavy remember.. he was also 42 and didnt care to slim...Elvis had a beautiful awesome lovely face. The camera always shows one heavier too.

con. Only 42 for him and Lisa Marie. Lisa Marie loves him deeply and I know miss's him daily. His life should not have had to end that way, for himself as he was such a amazing person. And he was suffering then. God knew he needed to Go Home and be with Him and Jesus. And I am Glad he is no longer suffering. He lives on in the lives of millions that love him so much 30 years after his death Elvis is the best thing that happened to music and his legacy will forever live on. Thank EP I love you.
