His little Native American dance and song was racist. Why? Because most Americans have no clue about real Native American culture. Too many 1/4-1/8-1/16 breeds think it's okay to stereotype Natives. Until Hollywood portrays Native Americans without the fake stereotypes and Americans are educated properly, no more comments from the peanut gallery.

Obviously, his intentions were to be funny, but at the expense of another culture. If the scene involved a white guy at a picnic playing a black guy eating watermelon and fried chicken, would you understand why some might find it offensive?

The fake leg is done with respect and helps to tell a story for La Rue's play and cannot be used as an argument here. My goal was to point out the ignorance of the scene and to get people to think outside of their stereotypes of Native Americans.

haha the end was cute :) so that play sounds like it was neat. i used to go to play's all the time at the omaha theater, but i just ..kind.. of.. ..stopped. hmm. guess it was about the time i moved to germany. yeah, yeah, i remember now. the plays didn't make any sense to me anymore. probably cuz they were speaking german or somethin, i DUnno, but yup. sounds like you had a good time, though :) and cool "prosthetic", i'm sure it looked great on stage :D
