I checked on the web and found out we are at nearly 4600 ft here in Dewey. That is about 700 feet lower than downtown Prescott. It's enough where we get very little or no snow when Prescott gets a few inches. We are about 5 degrees warmer on average.
Im from Phoenix, and going to Embry-Riddle for pilot training up in Prescott, Im so not looking forward in Winter time.

I shovel more snow than that everyday in Flagstaff! its nuts! Good for the drought though.

Yes and no. This amount of precip in such a short time period has lead to quite a bit of flooding in Prescott.

The airport is 5045 and we're a little bit above that where I live.
