@DynastyWarriors4Ever It takes time to build a hardware setup, but even a single piece of gear like an older Korg ES-1 can be tweaked in real time. You have to FIND ways to express yourself on machines. That's what techno has always been about....for me, at least.
Wow! Thanks for your enthusiastic support = ) This song doesn't actually exist = ( You're hearing the only version of it. Feel free to rip it if you have the software...
Currently have some singles out through amazon, beatport, itunes, etc. Another planned release on Eye Industries. No album as of yet. Songs still sounding a bit "raw" for labels I think.
the way you mix, is totally right-on. some of the finest 'vibe', technical wizardry... some really nice Zawinul wow synth big-ups, and the Jaco Pastorius bassline stylisms would, i believe, cause Jaco to smile from heaven.
this is excellent stuff! you're really good with that kaoss pad and everything else. im starting a live setup where i'm going to make every inputted note live. so im using some electribes. i wish i could afford that kaoss pad..
um techno?? dude this aint techno this is far from it!! techno is rough underground and hard.. not soft bouncey and vibrant... dude learn ur music!! btw good musickeep it up :)
Well I cant figure out where most people get their drum sample. Its like nobody says anything about where you can get drum samples. Would you or somebody tell me?
hah hah, to be honest, I'm in the same boat...I almost never sample anything, I'm pretty content with the included sounds that my synths/machines come with.
People get samples from many places, sample CDs, sampling prerecorded music (esp from vinyl), or they download em.
so the two beatboxes go into the mixer then the mixer's main outs go through the kaos pad before it hits the PA is that how your rig works? sounds good man :-)
Startng from the top: Yamaha RS7000, Vestax PCV180 mixer, Korg Kaoss Pad 2, Korg Electribe ES-1, and the yellow thing underneath it all is a Syntecno Tee Bee MKIII monophonic analog synth in a heavy rack case.
I guess it would be breaks, huh? But I kinda still call it all techno. My dream in life is to play out for a living. Currently working right now on doing just that in Tokyo. Thanks for your comments = )
Well, Im pretty sure if you brought the real deal (TB-303)into the setup it'll bring your performance to another level. I dunno but I heard from a lot of people that nothing can duplicate the filters inside the TB-303.
Wow! Thanks for your comment! Actually I use two different TB-303 clones. A Syntecno TeeBee from Holland, and a Futureretro 777 from Kansas. No Roland in this setup actually...! And yes, I brought everything but the mixer to Japan from the States! Thanks again! -rhythm_droid

in the overall pictur, its techno by definition but the genre I would have to say is more funk, classic 80'2 synth pop, man jammit out!!!!!!!!
