blue screen of death with noise

OMG! I was trying, without success, to describe this noise, that happened with the last two BSOD's. My laptop is just one month past the one year warranty. I haven't ever experienced BSOD's, on my past three laptops and one desktop. I have to go back to a Packard Bell (lol) with Win98 on it for a bluescreen, but not even that had this kind of noise. BTW, one of the OP said someone had to be listening to music. I wasn't. I was in a photo editing program. Did you ever find out about the noise?

i got the same error on my hp. it is a kernal error which means somthing is wrong with your OS. Unfortunatly the only way to fix it is to reinstall your version of windows.

Something like that happened to my boyfriend while we were chatting over Skype, he was doing something and he said "I think it's going to bluescreen." And I said "KNOCK ON WOOD! NOW!!" and the call dropped in the middle of my sentence.

He called back on his mother's laptop with webcam, and showed me, his laptop had bluescreened and had the sound of my voice going "OWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW" (when I said NOW) repeating over and over. It was freaky.

Ok ive had this before, if it is the RAM, then just open ur laptop up, hold a side, trying not to send ESD to your system, and wiggle the RAM to get a good connectivicty, if it was the CPU then it would either load up and then freeze or it wouldnt load anything up at all, no video, no sound other than a few beeps, not even a BIOS screen.

Try adding more RAM. I had similar problem with a Dell Dimension 8400 which crashed out everytime I booted up. I added more ram, and BINGO, it has never crashed out since. Or, it could be bad ram in your system. If i adding/replaceing ram works, you'll get rid of the problem, and hopefully have a faster PC too!

Its an HP Pavilion DV6000 or DV9000 series. BSoD's should be expected on these peices of shit (no offense). I own one of these portable shitboxes. has never worked correctly. not even on day 1. tried everything Windows 2000 Windows XP Windows FLP Windows Server 2003 Ubuntu Linux Xubuntu Linux Mac OS 10.4 Mac OS 10.5 Windows Vista (HP preload) Windows Vista (fresh install from my Vista Ultimate DVD) Windows 98 (was running out of operating systems lol) Everything installs nothing is stable.

The screen is gonna get taken off to be put on a Gateway (dont know if gateway is any better, we'll find out), the hard drive is going into a desktop soon, the DVD burner has already found its new home in an old ThinkPad 600E (VERY SOLID machine tri-booting Windows XP Pro, Xubuntu Linux and Windows 98SE) and the WiFi, processor, and Windows Vista COA sticker are going in the spare parts box in case i need them for the future...

Ive got the BSOD in XP via Windows Vista. Xp was in a parralels virtual machine. The sound went funny. It sounded like a skipping cd and then BSOD in a virtual machine. However Vista also locked up and BSOD! I had 2 on the same computer!
