Google chrome ,opera ,Safari ,and Fire fox have a similar tool or better already integrated with in the browser I don't get the point going to a strange website that I've never seen before for something I already have. Just saying.

When you start your browser and you go onto those preloaded sites on your web browser with all the links, you cannot determine whether you are already online or if you browser is still waiting to load up properly... If you cannot get onto this site, you instantly know your internet is down, or when you actually can start browsing :D
