Dark Samus is Metroid Prime, it copied Samus's genetic code from the Phazon Suit

@muzzamouse96 If you read the unaltered lore from the original US release (in Trilogy and PAL version they changed it) there's quite a few lores involving Space Pirates watching and examining the Metroid Prime. During their research they noticed the Metroid Prime had assimilated some of their weapon systems into its body, unable to be removed without harming the Metroid Prime. It seems it assimilated the Phazon Suit into its own biological structure, as well as some of Samus' DNA.

However someone (I dont remember who) that worked with the prime series said "“Do you want to see Dark Samus or Phazon again?"“It’s up to the fans,” so its very possible Dark Samus may return

She doesnt look all the way sexualized in the new ones, but she is near it. I'd rather her look like this or how she was in Fusion.

@TheSupperdude Dude, who cares about looks. The game was good. If you play a game solely for looks, look how many games suddenly suck. The story, characters, gameplay, that's what's important. Like the fact that when we all played the first game it's like "wow, this is intense!" They keep shelling out more, and every game added to the story. Regardless that she looks different, it's still one of the best damn game franchises ever made.
