If any of you listened to the audio version of the Lord of the Rings, you may have noticed that the voices of Boromir and Gollum are they same actors as in the audio book. Just a quick tidbit for you all. I can't remember the names, but I've listened to the audio version many many times.
Ha. When Gandalf throws off his hood, it gets caught up in his hat, and apparently, the Balrog scene was too expensive to animate, so they just flashed a bunch of concept art and hoped we got the gist of it.
Oddly enough, the Balrog that appears in these still images do NOT resemble the Balrog that appeared earlier in the film at all. Plus, the falling Balrog + Gandalf looked very much like a meteor that somehow ended falling down in a chasm.

Mooseboy018, this movie is not horrible this movie is awesome. Since only one of the "white skins" was attacking they saw no need in wasting arrows on him. The riders were testing them trying to get them to attack, read a book on ancient warfare you might understand what happened in that scene.
I agree with you this movie is not that great. They could have had a low budget. Actually i have mixed feeling its somewhat entertaining but it looks horrible
