I know Big Boss turns up like 3 times but I like the fact that he dies in peace with his "son" .... I thought the real ending was great... Very good. Big Boss was amazing anyways.

I also agree with the fact Snake needs peace but that was just crappy how he just shoots himself and it's over... .... he just... shoots himself with a thud... that would have ruined the WHOLE game and everyone would have called him emo after it.*sigh*

This is defenitly how it should of ended, more depressing this way. I hate how they kept him alive in the real ending. Why? He's not got anything to live for. Meryl's been taken away from him and the FOXDIE is going to kill him off soon, i don't understand why he doesn't just end it. Ah i don't know, anyway however the game ends he's still a legend.

@fantaloon well they kept him alive so that he could do just that and live. lets face it the dude was always in war from a pretty young age. and he never got a break really so yeah, he should just retire no reason to die, let him enjoy the last few moments of his life in peace. either ending would be perfect.

damn good, I do believe the ONLY way to make this better is to keep the wedders voice rolling while snake is placing the gun -to lazy to get times, the laps in his voice kinda killed a little mood. but it all came back by the end! I do mean though, damn nice

dude dont listhen to them this isnt horible at all... to me this is how MGS4 should of ended... the return of a chacter whos died twice before in the game is rather stupid and wreaks of 'WE RUNNING OUT OF IDEAS' and dont get me wrong i love snake.. but its time he had his rest.. to me MGS4 should be the last game with this as its ending...
