  • jsbackk, next to the Drag menu in Arrange (upper right corner of the arrange area), you'll see two tools (or three, if Logic is set up that way). Just change the tool the corresponds to you current Command Key tool to something else.

  • Hi Nativeaudio, could you explain to a dumb how you assign " command key " to the tool of your choice.. ( the fade tool...? why not ! )

    Thanks

    JS.

  • thank you

  • Great tutorial, though it goes by too quickly. It drives me nuts that Logic's fade tool won't affect all grouped tracks. I can use the Inspector, but that slows me down to have to move my mouse all the way up to the corner.

  • how can i select the " Three Tool Mode " ?

  • @8bitIsland

Go to Preferences>Editing and enable "Right Mouse Button Is Assignable to a Tool.

  • holy shit you just changed my life. fades auto in inspector, seriously, thank you.

  • Hi, whenever I try to use the crossfade tool on a region it just highlights it like the normal pointer tool, do you know what I'm doing wrong? thanks

  • that was the fastest tutorial video i've ever seen. I need to watch that in slow motion

  • :-) Try the pause button....

  • I forgot to mention that in order to edit fade curves, you need to press Control and Shift and click/move the mouse cursor over the fade area...

Also - in order to use the Junction tool on several tracks in one operation, group the tracks first.

  • awesome!

  • thanks for this!

  • I've finally added some text comments in the video itself now!

  • Mate!!! Thanks a lot!!!

    Now, I'm going faster... hehehehe!!!
