Royler never called out Bravo. I don't think he really cares at this poin. He chose to get paid fighting one last MMA fight, instead of fighting ADCC for free. Roler Gracie is in his 40's and retired after decades of comp.
@lsloewen2 he called him out because royler has been calling bravo out claiming it was a fluke and that he couldn't do it again, yet he won't rematch him??? all the gracies are jus jealous they weren't smart enough to break out of the barrier and revolutionize jiu-jitsu forever, lil bitch dont ever call the man out
It is so ridiculous that the winner of a match would call out the person he beat. In what sport had that EVER been acceptable? He doesn't want to fight Leo Vieira, who smashed Bravo conclusively, so bizarre. Royler is a Helio Gracie type, of course he is more interested in MMA like his family, what did everyone expect? Atleast he can apply jitz in a REAL FIGHT, more than we can say of Bravo
Eddie seems super cool and it appears that he is a really good instructor. Unlike Eddie, I have the worst flexibility/dexterity in the world and have never taken a Jiujitsu class in my life but I am so intrigued and tempted try it for once. Good stuff.
leo beat the hell out of eddie he should call a rematch with him. but honestly he would not beat royler again, he was being dominated and then caught royler with a triangle, with less than 30 seconds left in a 10 minute match, it can happen to anyone. matt serra beat gsp once, is he really better? buster douglas beat mike tyson once, is he really better? come on guys royler is a 5 time world champion, and 4 time adcc champ anyone can get caught. eddie is cool but this is ridiculous.
@carlsongracieteam but eddies jiujitsu has greatly improved since his match with royler...so why not?...styles make fights....and some of the greatest exponents just struggle against a certain type of fighter purely because of their style......i lover roylers game and i love eddies game..just don't write him off
eddie bravo smokes too much weed. hes a black belt and he beat royler gracie and thats all he can brag about it and he will brag about it till the day he dies. why we dont see him call out other top competitor like marcelo garcia and leo who beat him proper bad. calling out someone u beat doesnt make u any better. he needs to grow up
if eddie wan't to "retire" against a highly decorated grappler in his weight class.
he should challenge cobrinha or rafael mendes.
and prove the how effective his technique is in the highest level of grappling, given that he is the best at executing his system, therefore he is the best representative.
@Donpaeng His technique is very effective. You have to remember Eddie is not a great athlete. Alot of guys techniques arent as effective as Eddies but are such great athletes that they hv enough technique to beat him. GSP is a prime example of a world class athlete. There are probably people who hv better technique than GSP but cant deal with his strength and power. Also Eddies techniques arent for everyone, people have different styles.
@killedbydeath24 he was more interested in his music and writing. plus he was making a very good living teaching jiu jitsu so he didn't need to compete. competing isn't for everyone... but nice to see he wants to prove himself again.
ugh. quit moving the camera during the interview cameraman. it's an interview and you're making the interview more about your shaky hands, poor auto focus and general lack of camera experience, than what they're saying
Anyone know where Eddie bravo's gym is located at? Please help

@IIIDagNastyIII
Eddie is in his 40's also, I think his main issue is with everyone in the Gracie family downplaying his school, and his victory against Royler.

@yuenj01 There is no bragging about beating Royler. He wants a rematch to end his career. A rematch with who he thinks is the best.
No need for him to call out top competitors. Hes not competing or training at a high level.
Smoke some weed and watch the video again!

roger has surpassed royler in competition jiujitsu.
royler is no longer the most decorated gracie in sport jiujitsu.
and yes eddies chances are definitely greater now due to royler is older and doesn't concentrate in NO GI competition.
but in no way do i think this "MYTHICAL" rematch ever happen.

lol royler gracie? what about leo viera...he destroyed Eddie by like 15+ points at abu dhabi
