It's a cover song. Unfortunately, and evidently you haven't access all the original songs by filipinos which are equally at par with the popular songs the world get to hear and know. Also, may i remind you, my friend, that generalizing ALL Filipinos for being known to "covering" all songs is pretty much a big blow to ALL Filipinos. We just love to sing, that's all : ).
