  • A BUS DRIVER THREW ME OFF THE BUS. THIS IS A BAD PROCEDURE. THE BUS DRIVER IS INSTRUCTED TO CONTACT THE AUTHORITIES TO PHYSICALY REMOVE THE PASSENGER OFF THE BUS. THIS LEADS TO LAWSUITS TO THE DRIVER. WHEN I WENT TO COURT, THE DRIVER LOST THE CASE. DRIVERS ALSO ASSAULT PASSENGERS. METRO NEEDS TO MAKE THE SCREENING A LOT MORE TOUGHER FOR CRIMINALS LIKE THIS DRIVER.

  • @cjzzzzz I throw your 1 eye having ass off you bitch ass nigga, and your kids punk.

  • he needs to be fired

  • Thats right my nigga.i wanna do the same thing.wmata

  • @444killaz YO GAY AZZ WOULD'NT DONE SHIT MF!!

  • 1st of all who ever recorded this and turned this in.is an idiot.the driver was only protecting u and da rest of da passengers.2nd i cant believe metro fired da driver its not like his actions were excessive to da point he beat the guy he's just simply putting dat asshole off the bus

  • @mford7600 metro has cameras on the bus

  • U guys obviously haven't rode the bus in dc. Metro bus drivers get assaulted everyday. I'm surprised they're not allowed to carry guns

  • I don't believe in it at all y'all talkin reckless everybody sayin yea I would do this or dat dats bullshyt nd y'all know it its not professional or customerservice its the metro bus not the metro ass whooping bus it shows him assaulting a man on the bus not the other way around y'all just ignorant as shyt grow up what if dat was u y'all wouldn't be talkin as much shyt

  • LOOK I have done the same thing years ago! I'm a driver in Chicago and you can see all my videos on here as well! Look some places the police can 't get in time to deal with the problems we face. We are the police, driver, psychiatrist, and father & mothers to a lot of people that get on and off these bus and trains. Yet we get no respect for what we do.

  • I drive a bus for DC also and I would have done the same thing only if that passenger made himself a problem over time, I have done it before and will do it again. I am sick and tired of the dumb ass niggers and the uppity ass crackers that think they can say and do what they want to bus operators and it is okay. FUCK YOU ALL!!! Give me respect and I will reciprocate, if you do not, then get on, pay the fare, sit down and shut the fuck up.

  • @kaw12mann NO MAN!! DONT MAKE A PASSENGER GET THE BEST OF YOU. ITS MORE LIKELY YOU WILL LOSE AND COURT AND FACE A POSSIBLE LAWSUIT. BEST THING TO DO IS CONTACT THE POLICE TO HAVE THE PASSENGER REMOVED AND CONTACT YOUR SUPERVISOR. COVER YOUR ASS WITH A PEN AND NOT WITH A FIST MY FRIEND.

  • Hmm..well being a former resident of DC and seeing straight foolishness on public transportation regularly, the bus driver had every right to get a belligerent fool off of his bus. According to the person who shot the video(news report),this man was cursing, threatening the bus driver and fell on a young child..IMO..throw that piece of trash off of the bus and this driver should not be fired for his actions.

  • @ samueldavs

If a customer/patron is being unruly, then the establishment has the right to extract that patron. They do this is ALL public locations: banks, movies, restaurants, clubs, etc. I'm not saying the force this guy used was necessary, because I wasn't there to see the whole situation play out. I'm just saying that, in the right instance, themselves has the right to put a passenger off the bus

  • Honestly, from the video, we dint know what happened to cause the driver to throw the guy off the bus in the first place. I would like to think that whatever happened previously was pretty major, especially to make the driver use such force to extract the guy from the bus. It just seems pretty convenient that the person doing the recording couldn't record what happened to prompt the response.

  • I read some coments of how the drive should conduct himself, and I agree but... It's obvious you either don't ride the bus, or you ride through safe neighborhoods. Some DC routes have been notorious for disruptive passengers for decades. Just a week ago I had to stop a fight between a ignorant grown woman, who nastily picked on an elderly man who was minding his business, all because he had an odor. She could have chose to move, but no that would be too civil for ignorant @ss.

  • the nig definitely deserved it.

  • Fuckd his monkey ass on up but dats ji sad doe

  • MEANBLACKDUDE!

  • @jBigjake the bottom line is you can't physically eject anyone from unless the passenger poses a threat to you or your passengers. I really don't want anyone to lose their job,but as a public servant you have to deal with all personalities differently and use better judgment.Over the years I have been in many physical altercations and they all have been justified and here in DC we are scrutinized about everything as you can see from the videos on YouTube .He just should of been smarter.

  • I am with the bus driver. Maybe he could have got him off just a bit easier... But I have ridden public transit all my life and have seen unruly passenger's not willing to pay very often. Plus if he had the money to pay to be drunk, he could had the money to pay for a bus fare. The passenger should look into his priorities.

  • The driver use brute force on this needed gentlemen I don't think it was the appropriate thing to do.

Give him a little lift... Down the road he may need the same thing to him.

Hopefully for him he gets a good compassionate driver not a rude guy that could kill him

  • And one further comment on this:

THE BUS DRIVER DID THE GUY A FAVOR, HE PREVENTED HIM FROM BEING ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH A FELONY-'obstructing public transit'-the guy should thank the driver!

  • We live in the NANNY STATE NOW, can't do anything without "permission" from some higher authority.

None of this "nanny state" crap existed before 10 years ago. The guy wasn't hurt, he got shoved off the bus because he would not cooperate.

  • The guy was drunk and had no money. He was told to get off and didn't. I really think he should have called the police, but I don't know how they are supposed to handle these things. Here in Detroit the bus drivers will just let someone ride if they have no money, instead of causing a scene and making the other passengers inconvenienced.

  • Fire him, and charge with assault or disorder conduct. You can not push anyone. If you have an issue call the police.

Now for those that say they he was asked nicely, this is not his personal bus, t belongs to the county.

  • He was wrong as hell for that!!! The right way was to call the police...that's what they are there for not throw him down off the bus like that. Yeah he should be fired for that because it was handled wrong.

  • Bus driver SHOULD NOT-repeat-NOT be disciplined for doing the right thing and protecting the passengers from this disruly person!

He asked him nicely to get off the bus and the guy wouldn't go!

    COMMENDATION!

  • @PortlandsTransport

are you feeling ok.. Protecting passengers .. from what ? this bus is not his, he is to follow rules that are set by his employers, however if this was his personal bus, than yes throw the bum out.

This is similar if you walk into a bank, and ask for fee reversal, and i grab you and physical throw you out of the bank. You can not put your hands on people, this is not your personal property

  • @samueldavs ok point taken...he should be reprimanded...BUT FOR SURE NOT FIRED!

Walk a mile in his shoes see what these bus drivers face! All of his passengers got where they needed to go because of this driver! Call the cops and wait for god knows how long then all the freaking reports blah blah blah...he took care of the situation himself! I SALUTE THIS BUS DRIVER!

  • @samueldavs Your comparison is very flawed. The difference is the bank is not a moving service a bus ride is. The bank does not charge you a fee to take you any where a bus ride does? did you not think this through before posting such ridiculous comments? If you ask for a fee reversal the bank would not need to do anything to you and it would still be business as usual but if you are on the bus and dont pay the bus company losses money by your not moving.

  • @texasdurp

you said "He asked him nicely to get off the bus and the guy wouldn't go!"

Well if a bank employee ask you nicely to leave, and you do not.....So the bank employee can grab you and physically throw you out

  • I work for the company, been here 25 years and in certain situations you can use force to extract a passenger but in this case the passenger showed no threat as will be proven by the video so I say again FIRED!!! You have to know when to do it and PLEASE make sure you are not being recorded!!!

  • @rickraw Way to stand up for your brother driver, rick. Not!

  • Somehow, someway, the NAACP will find a way to blame this situation on White people.

  • The slam might have been too hard, but he should have got off the bus.

  • Have your money or pass in hand, dont ask 1,000,000 questions, sit down and STOP HOLDIN' UP BIZNESS!!! - People got places to go, breh!!

  • That is a special kind of Driver to help a passenger off the bus. The driver didn't hesitate to help that man.

  • Can you say FIRED!!!!!!

  • Fired? How about commended. This guy should get a raise for tossing the trash out!
