  • Paul, I wish I was your neighbor!!

  • I have an organ in my house my room to be exact and I know not many 18 year olds can say they even own one! :) This is beautiful what song is that?

  • wonderful organ and playing sir. Could you please tell me where are the chambers for the pipes/ Are they in the basement? I have been thinking of installing an organ but not sure where I could put it.

  • I must state the fact . i Total agree its amazing organ. I would love to live next door to someone who can play an organ just like your`s and please u are a good organist. Indeed. i am sorry for the comment`s i had made and i am most sorry for them as well. My friend. can you tell me some info about this organ please. Would be nice to no. ware did u stick the 16 bass pipes. because there`s organs do come with very big pipes God bless kind regards Aaron. plus I have Autisum and ADHD so excuss me

  • I must state the fact that i was joking. about what i had put. I have a 2 manual pipe organ and 3 manual Allen organ in my house. The people next door to me Do not like the playing 7 days a week.

  • Joking aside, my friend, you raise ai interesting issue. Despite the thick walls of a Victorian terraced house, of course my neighbours DO hear me play-the right notes and the wrong ones-and I am very careful not to put into jepardy the very good relationship that exists between us. I am fortunate to own such a marvellous instrument, and probably just as fortunate to have the neighbours that I do. Long may it continue.

  • I BET the people who live next door to you . must not like u for the loud pipe organ sound

  • As a "concert cathederal organist" you will understand the beautiful musical effects that my fortunate neighbours can enjoy several times a day.

  • Great videos. How many ranks does it have. Aeolians sound a lot like theatre organs to me. Could you post a video of the pipe chambers? I wonder how you organized your pipe ranks. I am getting a 4/32 Kimball theatre organ, and am wondering if there is a certain way that the ranks go.

  • The dynamics and tonal expressions that can be created with the pipe organ are unique and very impressive to hear. It must be quite a feeling to be able to have access to such an instrument in your own home. :)

Great playing and great video. Thanks for sharing.

  • I enjoy it enormously, and am constantly discovering new and pleasing stop combinations. Thanks for taking the time to comment.

  • Hi!

Thanks so much for your video, for your wonderful playing and for persevering and preserving such a wonderful instrument!

  • Thank you for your kind words. It is my pleasure to share such tallents as I posess in this way, and to invite all enthusiasts who may be "passing through" to stop by and and see Op.1458 first hand.

  • The Weyerhaeuser estate in Tacoma Washington, USA has nearly the same organ still in place; the house is now a Baptist seminary. Do you still have the role player working? Obviously you dont need it.

  • Beautiful sounding organ paul

  • I personally love Aeolian organs. This is some really great stuff on an even greater Aeolian pipe organ.

  • Ive never heard an organ with those kind of voices... Its a bit like a thetre organ with some caliope influence... Nice Job! I really like the console layout all the stope are right infront of the performer's hands and not all over the place like a thatre organ. Are those thumb pistons for a combination capture sytem?

  • Hi and thank you for your comments. Aeolian organs were rather different to the ususal theatre jobs, and take a bit of getting used to. Having rebuilt this one I know most of its foibles and quirks. It DOES have a "capture system" in the form of a setter board. I have the ability to set SIX pistons only (all general pistons) but often prefer hand registration. Thank you for taking the time to comment. Paul Morris

  • Congratulations Paul on a monumental job well done!

  • That really is super, Paul. Nice shirt too!

  • Brilliant! Congratulations!!!!!!!!

  • Wonderful video! You play beautifully. You are a fortunate man to have that organ!

  • Great stuff, Paul; You posess that rare combination of technical expertise and musical talent. It is a thrill to hear this magnificent instrument, with its wonderful palette of vibrant orchestral colours, singing to us now as it did 89 years ago. Fabulous!

  • Bravo Paul! I know what this video represents--thousands of hours of hard work. A job well done!

    Bob
