Obsessive Compulsive tendencies are not all bad if you can minimize the negative aspects of the disorder too. It is great to be a brilliant obsessor, but not good to shirk your entire life for the aspects of things. Adam Savage seems to be able to break from obsession-lock-syndrome to actually accomplish bigger goals. So that is a good thing.
